The Skillman Foundation is a nonprofit investing in people and policy based in the heart of Detroit. They specialize in grantmaking and advocacy to support Detroit youth, educators, and community members to influence education policy and system change.

Working in partnership with their Social Change Storyteller, Alexa Borromeo, I’ve assisted with various design-based projects over the years. Together we discuss the information that needs to be visualized along with what the main goal of the material is. Then I design whatever deliverable fits their needs best, from multi-page reports to social media graphics, while creating a look that is equal parts fun and informative.
